Our Studio was excited to be involved in additions and alterations to a beautiful example of a last century Spanish Mission home.

Spanish Mission architecture, made famous in the early 20th Century by Hollywood influencers, is characterized by arched windows, decorative columns supporting various shared arches as well as textured external render, typically finished in pink.

Our brief was to preserve the Spanish Mission style and carefully add new accommodation to the rear, provide a new pool, pool cabana and rear landscaped area, as well as reimaging the interiors of the home.

A large roof volume enabled us to restructure the roof support and create a master suite in this space with discreet dormer windows allowing light and harbour views.
