Light House is set in a congested neighbourhood within minimal setbacks. As natural light, palette and ambiance was of critical importance to the client the house was designed around bringing light inside through a large skylight over a floating stair. The design brief was to keep the house as simple and minimalist as possible with the colour palette of light greys, whites, and soft browns.

The new yard area features a raised pool in glass to showcase the rear axial focal point of the house. The house follows the Zen mantra of serenity, calmness and this is expressed through simple forms, materials, and vistas.
