SINGITA BOULDERS

Raw & Rustic

Conceived from the earth and its natural products, Singita Boulders celebrates organic design and materials. Situated along the banks of the Sabi Sand River, each architectural element is individually designed to ‘grow from the earth’ and rooms are partly buried underground. The natural grass thatched roofs reflect the surrounding veld (grassland) and stone walls are dry stacked, gathered from the surrounding hills. Water gives life in the African bush and the lodge entrance uses water to reflect the building and provide a cool arrival for guests.
