Revitalizing a coastal residence, our alteration and addition project with Erik Smithson Architecture meticulously transforms the space while respecting its original character. Horizontal beams that once constrained the interior are incorporated into a vaulted ceiling, granting the desired heightened ambiance. The design deftly retains the existing structure, harmonizing the old and new. The result is a timeless beachside haven, seamlessly connected to nature through fluid indoor-outdoor spaces.
